Sunday School has started!
Whats going on here?
Guess the scene?
Sunday the 12th February 2012...the day all our kids have been waiting for over the summer - the start of Sunday school! Although our kids have enjoyed their summer holidays I am sure they have been looking forward to Sundays spent having fun and learning more this year about God and His word.
We kicked off our 2012 journey with a fun session of games and activities including one of our old favourites - Snapshots.
It it was then time for our kids to find out who their new teachers were.
We have a got a great theme this year which I'm very sure our kids will find challenging, fun and informative.
The theme of our curriculum this year is "BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT". We will be studying some great characters who exhibited great faith in the Lord in the face of many challenges and adversity. We look forward to learning heaps of new things and also look forward to seeing how our classes adapt and incorporate the lessons into their monthly family services. Fasten your seatbelts because 2012 is going to be another awesome year in Sunday school!
