Cast your net on the right side...

After the Grades 11 and 12 students delivered their service to our congregation. A couple of the same students along with their families led our afternoon service. This service is led in the Samoan language. Families once a month have the opportunity to minister through their creative items. This service had wonderful items that included a lot of beautiful singing and actions. The acting was fantastic too! Both young and old were involved and delivered a heart felt message.
If you were present, leave a comment and share what you enjoyed from this service.

  1. Malo lava! I thought your play and all the singing that was part of it was fantastic! Your younger members were right into it! A very creative way of delivering your message. Many thanks to the families who were part of the leading team. God's blessings be yours. Ia soifua, ona o Iesu.

  2. Forgot to mention - absolutely loved the opening and closing songs with the different parts for men and women, then at the end - father and son combos. Awesome!

  3. Yes, it was a very enjoyable day with Grades 11&12 leading the morning service and then the Samoan service led by Amituana'i(ta'ita'i) and the families from Papatoetoe, Otahuhu and Mangere. The music was very entertaining and the actors and actresses were enjoying themselves! The message which encouraged us to "Cast our nets on the right side" is a very powerful reminder to us that when things aren't going our way and life seems hard and tiresome, cast your net on the right side where Jesus promises abundance of blessings. Thank you to our families that took part, to our church for your participation and to Andrea for uploading this video. It's great to be able to look back and be encouraged.

    In Jesus' name.
